The people have spoken
Nature in the UK is in crisis. Decades of damage have pushed our incredible wildlife and wild places to the brink.
The nature crisis affects everyone, so everyone should have a say about how we solve it.
Together, we all have the power to make a real difference.
Nature brings us together, and we all depend on it. The world’s first People’s Plan for Nature has brought people from all walks of life – with all types of opinions – together to find common ground on the action we need to take to save nature. For all of us and for future generations.
WWF's response to the People's Plan For Nature
To be true to the plan and to the citizens who created it, WWF-UK has committed to read, reflect, respond, and integrate the plan into our work wherever possible. This response sets out our position on each call to action, as well as an outline of the work WWF-UK already undertakes, and how the People’s Plan for Nature recommendations will influence the way we work in future.
The People’s Plan for Nature is powered by the WWF, the RSPB and National Trust.
It is a unique collaboration with the UK public to protect and restore nature in the UK.
