The issue

Nature is under threat, particularly here in the UK. Shockingly, our nature is so depleted we rank in the bottom 10% worldwide.

Here at WWF, we are working hard to conserve endangered species, protect and restore habitats, and address global threats to the planet, such as climate change. We are working to restore hope; restore our connections to nature; and in turn enrich our lives and those we care about. But we cannot achieve our mission without the vital donations from our supporters and partners.

The Solutions

In March 2024, Omaze launched their Omaze Million Pound House Draw in which one lucky person won a stunning 5-bedroom house in Cornwall worth over £3 million - along with £100,000 in cash - all whilst raising an incredible £3.1m for World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).

“At such a crucial time for our planet, we’re thrilled and so grateful to Omaze and to everyone who entered the Omaze Million Pound House draw in Cornwall, who have raised a phenomenal £3M for WWF. The money raised through this draw will go towards our vital work protecting wildlife and restoring nature, both on our doorsteps in the UK and around the world.   Thank you Omaze, and to everyone who entered. This partnership will help us considerably in our fight to bring our world back to life.”

The results

WWF works tirelessly with communities, governments, scientists, supporters and business leaders to stop the destruction of nature, secure a safe climate and bring our world back to life. The money raised through the partnership with Omaze is helping with restoring UK coasts, driving action from the UK government and empowering young people to take action for nature - all helping to bring our world back to life.
