Get Involved with Great Big Green Week

Great Big Green Week is taking place 8-16 June 2024. It is a week-long programme of communities coming together to tackle climate change and protect nature, organised through The Climate Coalition, of which WWF is a member.

With the General Election expected later this year, it is vital that all parties understand how important tackling climate change and restoring nature is to people. The Great Big Green Week provides an opportunity to join others in your community to show your concern for these important issues.

Below you will find some helpful step-by-step guidance on how you can use the Save Our Wild Isles Film to inspire conversations in your community for Great Big Green Week and beyond.

Step 1 - Register your event

Firstly, register your event on the Great Big Green Week website.

Step 2 - Organise your 'save our wild isles' screening

You don’t need to be a nature expert to organise a screening and have a chat in your community. All you need is an interest in nature and a drive to make a difference. We have a series of resources and discussion guides to help you.

If you are comfortable doing so, your screening is a great way to engage with your local MP and local candidates. Why not invite them along?

Step 3 - Get support from WWF

Once you have registered, let us know so we can support you in making your event a success. We can provide posters, resources, speakers, and advise on how to promote your event and invite your MP or other candidates. The next few months will be vital in ensuring nature is a priority for any future government.
