How do I find out about projects or programmes that I can get involved in?
We have a lot of exciting opportunities coming up in 2024! We will be sure to update our webpage with details of everything that you can get involved in, so please keep an eye on it.
What is the Youth Ambassador programme?
The programme is made up of a small group of passionate and motivated young people who have demonstrated a commitment to environmental activism. Youth Ambassadors receive training, support, and resources from us to help them develop their skills, knowledge, and networks.
Youth Ambassadors often undertake various activities such as organizing events, leading campaigns, raising awareness in their communities, and advocating for policy changes to address pressing environmental challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, deforestation, and pollution.
Through the Youth Ambassador Programme, WWF-UK aims to amplify the voices of young people in the fight against environmental degradation and to inspire positive change at local, national, and global levels. It provides a platform for young activists to make a meaningful contribution to conservation efforts and shape a more sustainable future, and it aims to engage and empower young people to take action on environmental issues and become advocates for sustainability and conservation.
How can I become a Youth Ambassador?
We are regularly reviewing whether we are in a position to welcome more young people to the Youth Ambassador programme. If any opportunities to join the Youth Ambassador programme become available, we will share details on how to apply on our webpage. Keep an eye out!
