Thank you to everyone who joined us at Great Wild Walks at Forest of Dean!
The forests you walk, talk and relax in are under threat from climate change. Will you take action? Unite with WWF at our brand new event in Beechenhurst forest, in the Forest of Dean. Walk 5 or 10 miles and raise funds to save the places you love.
Date: Saturday 6th July 2024
Location: Beechunhurst Forest, Speech House Road, Coleford, GL16 7EL (///snoozing.equipment.nooks)
Start time: Please arrive for 09:30am. The walk will start at 10am.
Registration Fee: Over 16 £5. Under 16 free of charge.
Fundraising Target: £150
Distance: choose from a 5 or 10 mile route
What's included: a free t-shirt which you'll be able to collect on the day. Plus, when you finish you can collect your well earned eco-medal!

Travel information: We are encouraging everyone to travel to our events by public transport. The nearest station is Lydney. For more information, please see out FAQ’s
Facilities: Toilets, water station, refreshments
Route: You will be able to choose from a 5 or 10 mile route on the day. Routes will be signed and marshalled on the day and digital maps will be sent out nearer to the event
Accessibility: The 5 mile route should be accessible for all-terrain wheelchairs and pushchairs, however please note that the route is not flat and there is some incline and decline on the route. The route takes place on hard stone tracks. Please contact us if you would like more information on the accessibility of the route
