Exclusively for WWF supporters, join us for a uniquely challenging one day, 10-peak trek through the beautiful Lake District. This challenge requires a good level of fitness as, during the course of the trek, we'll cover around 25km and tackle 1400m of ascent. This is the perfect opportunity to fully connect with UK nature whilst raising funds to help bring our world back to life.

It will be an early start for registration and a safety briefing with your leaders for the day! Starting from the town of Ambleside, we'll begin our challenge with an ascent up to Red Screes. From here we descend a short way and head westwards towards the distinctive mountain of Fairfield, ticking off peaks as we go.
Our trekking route - 25km and 1,433m of ascent.
This is a long day that includes some of the most famous mountains in the Lake District, all with views of Lake Windermere. The 10 peaks covered during the 25km trek will be:

4. Little Hart Crag
5. Dove Crag
6. Hart Crag
7. Scrubby Crag
8. Fairfield
9. Great Rigg
10. Heron Pike
Fundraising Options
There are two fundraising options available to cover the cost of the challenge and raise vital funds to support WWF's work to bring our world back to life:
Minimum Sponsorship:
You will be required to pay the non-refundable registration fee of £45.00 at the time of booking and raise a minimum amount of sponsorship, £235.00. At least 80% of the minimum sponsorship required (£188.00) must be sent to the charity 11 weeks before departure (by 21/06/2025), and the remaining 20% (£47.00) within 4 weeks of completing the challenge (by 04/10/2025).
Flexi Funding:
You will be required to pay the non-refundable registration fee of £45.00 at the time of booking, and 5 weeks before departure (02/08/2025) you will be required to pay a second contribution of £45.00 towards your challenge costs. You will also need to raise a minimum amount of sponsorship, £145.00. At least 80% of the minimum sponsorship required (£116.00) must be sent to the charity 11 weeks before departure (by 21/06/2025), and the remaining 20% (£29.00) within 4 weeks of completing the challenge (by 04/10/2025).
