WWF-UK Environmental Policies

Our aim is to create an environment on our planet where people and nature can thrive together. Our responsibility doesn't end with influencing others to protect the natural world through their critical decisions – we must also play our part, lessening our impacts and inspiring and helping others to do the same. Our first environmental policy was introduced in 1989 and we'll always be striving to improve our environmental performance.

In 2008 we proudly became certified to the environmental management standard ISO 14001. We've upheld this certification every year since. Our head office, The Living Planet Centre, is a bespoke designed building. It was awarded a top rating of 'Outstanding' by BREEAM; an internationally recognised environmental assessment for buildings.
