The power of philanthropy at WWF
Every philanthropic gift we receive plays a crucial role in the future of our planet. So far, philanthropists have helped us save species from extinction, protect and restore vast areas of land, and safeguard the health and livelihoods of millions of people.
With your support, WWF projects can act as a turnkey to leverage funding for exemplar and pilot work that accelerates impact and scale. For example, our science and policy expertise alongside our partners and donors has scaled the ambition of the ground-breaking Seeds of Hope programme, which has grown from just a few hectares to become the biggest ever seagrass restoration project in the UK.
Philanthropy was also a driving force behind the award-winning Our Planet series and David Attenborough: Life on Our Planet film, which we produced in collaboration with Silverback Films and Netflix to reach millions of people.

What is a philanthropic gift?
A philanthropic gift to WWF is a donation of £5,000 or greater that will make a direct and transformational impact in an area of our work that is close to your heart.
There are different ways for philanthropic donors to support WWF and create lasting conservation impact. You can join our 2030 Circle with a gift of £5,000 or more, or you can speak to our Philanthropy team to directly support a specific WWF project with a high-impact gift of more than £25,000.
When you make a significant gift, you will receive regular and bespoke updates, so you know how your money is invested and how it helps generate conservation results. We look forward to partnering with you to help bring our world back to life.

We rely on generous supporters to invest in our global work and help us secure a world where both people and nature thrive. Each philanthropic contribution we receive supports lasting conservation solutions that will benefit species, people and the environment.
