Inspiring young people to take action

We want to inspire, support and empower young people to take action for our world and help build a more sustainable future.

JOIN THE FIGHT FOR YOUR WORLD

Today's young people will be the stewards of our planet in the years to come.  That’s why we're putting young people at the centre of our work. We’re working with young people who care about our natural world, to help them explore the issues facing our planet, and equip them to take positive action to protect it.

Our youth engagement programme supports and empowers young people, helping them to inspire and motivate others to join in the fight for our world. There will be plenty of opportunities for young people to get involved and take action, from upcoming community events to accessing our dedicated youth engagement toolkit.

Apply to join our Youth Ambassador programme!

We're recruiting two people to join our WWF Youth Ambassador programme.

This is a great opportunity to shape WWF's work, from co-creating projects, to attending events and collaborating with young people from other organisations.

The Living Planet Report 2024 - Youth Edition!

An urgent health check for the planet.

WWF's Living Planet Report 2024 shows that we're losing nature at a shocking rate, with wildlife populations around the world dropping by an average of 73% since 1970.

Our youth edition was created with the help of 24 young people from 12 different countries, including Ecuador, India, Pakistan, Paraguay, Singapore, the UK, and Zambia. It breaks down why nature is in trouble, how it affects all of us, and what we can do to help bring it back — whether as individuals, in our schools, or within our communities. Together, we can make a difference!

Contact the Youth Engagement Team!
