Throughout the recent The UN Climate Change Conference (COP26), thousands of UK schools helped create a virtual Forest of Promises to grow a sustainable future!

UK Schools make a Promise To The Planet

Thanks to WWF and our partners, schools were a key part of the story of COP26. Throughout COP26, hundreds of schools across the UK took part in creating a Forest of Promises, creating leaves with their promise to the planet and a message they wanted world leaders to hear at COP26.

Create a #ForestOfPromises

Young people are invited to continue the COP26 conversation in their schools and wider community about the changes needed to address climate change, by creating their own Forest of Promises.

You could use one of the templates provided, get creative and draw your own leaf shape, or find a fallen leaf from a favourite tree. Make sure it’s big and strong enough to write on!

It could be as simple as cycling anywhere you can rather than getting a lift, or making food and snack choices that are kind to the planet.

Once you've created your Forest of Promises, share your good work on social media using the hashtag #ForestOfPromises and tag us at @wwf_uk.
