VOLUNTEER AT GREAT WILD WALKS
What can you expect?
Volunteering at a Great Wild Walk is a fun way to meet other people passionate about our world and to support us in raising funds to continue our crucial work. We allocate roles on the day, however the below gives you an idea of what you could be doing.
Event Village Volunteer
Our event village volunteers take on a number of roles including greeting walkers, handing out t-shirts, supporting our recycling stations and handing out medals
Route Marshal
Our marshals head out onto the route, ensuring our walkers don’t get lost and cheering them along as they go
Back Marker
Our back markers walk the route, following our last walkers and taking down signage as they go. This role requires volunteers to walk the full 10 miles.
