Will you Brave the Chill this December – and help WWF bring our world back to life?
Whether it’s a quick dip in outdoor water, a cold shower or an icy bath, when you Brave the Chill for WWF, you won’t just be enduring the elements, you’ll be taking action for our world, too.
Not only is cold water swimming a great activity that brings us closer to nature, but it can also offer amazing health benefits too. So take part in Brave The Chill this December to get that daily dose of nature.

Fundraising Target: £150
What's included: when you register, you'll have access to our range of digital resources to help you plan a safe and enjoyable event. Plus, when you raise £30 you'll be able to claim a WWF t-shirt and when you hit the £150 target you can claim your WWF medal! For anyone who raises over £250 you can also claim either a WWF coffee cup or neck buff too.

What is Brave the Chill?
Brave the Chill is WWF's cold water challenge. Whether it’s a quick dip in outdoor water, a cold shower, or an icy bath, we’re asking people to get sponsored and raise £150 for WWF. Whatever you choose, we know you’ll be brrr-illiant when you Brave the Chill!
How do I take part?
If you'd like to take on a chilly challenge you can sign up here. We’d recommend that you read our safety guidance to help you get prepared for your challenge. Once you’re ready, share your challenge on social media, and with friends and family, asking them to sponsor you!

How much do I need to raise?
We’re asking everyone to raise £150. This will help us to continue protecting forests, oceans and species around the world for everyone to enjoy. When you sign up, you’ll receive digital resources with lots of helpful tips to reach your goal. The team are always on hand to help with additional support too.
How should I raise my £150 target?
The best way to hit your £150 target is to create a JustGiving page. It’s easy to set up, quick for friends and family to make donations and great at keeping track of your total! The funds raised through JustGiving are sent to WWF automatically too, so we can put them to use straight away. For any JustGiving queries, please see their FAQs' here:
How do I pay in any cash donations?
If you have cash donations and already have a JustGiving page, you can pay the donations into your own bank account and make an online donation via your fundraising page. Alternatively, you can choose from the following methods:
1. By using our online paying in form here.
2. By enclosing a cheque made payable to WWF-UK with a downloaded sponsorship form, returned to: WWF Brave The Chill, The Living Planet Centre, Brewery Road, Woking GU21 4LL
3. Call us on 01483 426333 to make payment via phone.
How will my donations be used?
All donations made from the Brave the Chill will be used to fund WWF’s work around the world to help protect our amazing planet. If you would like to find out more about the work we do, please have a look at our website.
How do I receive the fundraising rewards?
To qualify for a reward, you must have raised the minimum target amount, as outlined below, by no later than 00:00hrs on 28th January 2025 and completed our claim form(s). Late entries will not be considered. Rewards will be sent to your address (if the address we have for you is incorrect, you must contact us prior to sending the reward to change it). The fundraising targets and applicable rewards are as set out below and are cumulative (so, by way of example only, if your fundraising total is equal to or exceeds £250 you will be entitled to receive all the applicable rewards as set out below). Fundraising rewards are available while stocks last. Fundraising totals do not include Gift Aid:

How do I claim my fundraising rewards?
When you hit your fundraising goals, you will be able to claim your rewards. Please email fundraising@wwf.org.uk to be sent the relevant claim forms.
You will receive the claim forms by email, please do get in touch if you do not receive them.
