Adopt an animal

Help us protect our most vulnerable species

Your Challenge

Do you have a soft spot for penguins, snow leopards or turtles? When you adopt an animal with WWF, you’ll be helping to support endangered species and protect their threatened habitats.

Why you're doing this

As a result of global climate change, hunting and the destruction of their habitats, thousands of species around the world need our help. In the last decade, an average of 47 African elephants were killed every day for their ivory, and there are just 1,860 giant pandas left in the world. And thanks to deforestation, jaguars have just 50% of their former habitat still available to them.

You can adopt an animal here.

How you'll make a difference

Your support goes directly to helping animals. For just £3 a month you can give an endangered species a better future. Your money will help support local communities and initiatives, monitoring their numbers and movements and preserving their habitats. When you choose an animal adoption you not only protect the species you adopt, but it also funds our wider work around the world.
