Fold a
tiger bookmark

This paper big cat will keep your place while you’re reading!

Step one

Get a square piece of paper and fold on the dotted lines in our diagram.

Step two

Cut out and remove the bottom left square as shown and keep it for later.

Step three

Fold up the bottom-right square diagonally.

Step four

Fold down the top left square diagonally.

Step five

Rotate the paper as shown.

Step six

Fold the top left triangle inwards.

Step seven

Unfold the top right triangle as shown.

Step 8

Fold the top-right square inwards and tuck the flap under.

Step nine

Cut some ears from the square that you cut out earlier – ask an adult for help if you need to.

Step ten

Turn your bookmark over and stick the ears on the back.

Step eleven

Turn the bookmark back over and decorate the front with coloured pens or pencils. You can copy our picture or get creative and draw your own stripes!
